Ice Cream Factory, 408 E Sandford Blvd., Mount Vernon: located in a small brick strip mall near Target, this is an ice cream parlor a juice bar. The tropical flavors include too many to mention, with Rum Raisin Grapenutt and Jamaican Rum Raisin available. They have soy milk and sugar-free ice cream.

A much longer yelp review by Shoshana R. of Bronx included this,

"An old school ice cream polar with flavors uniquely their own, catering to a variety of ice cream recipes West Indian inspired. The different combinations of grape nuts and rum raisin are endless and unmatched. Prepackaged in multiple sizes or to be enjoyed immediately in a cone or cup."

Pane e Gelato, 290 White Plains Road, Eastchester: A gelateria and Italian deli in a two-story brick building. In addition to the food rooted in Sicily, gelato comes in various flavors and they make custom gelato cakes.

Richard Pinto said they have "excellent gelato and noted, they're "easy to miss, it's at the next light after you pass the Tru Value hardware store, near to Bronxville, on the left."
